I recently came across some good advice from a friend. Proposing an idea, that seems very worthy of giving it a shot. I’ve heard other variations of it, but nothing so simple as the way he put it. I’ll give it a try the next time I am obligated to do something. If it works, terrific, otherwise, I’ll consider it part of my trial and error list. If at first you don’t succeed… You know how it goes.

Which brings me to my next point. 2. In 2 days. I was doing so well, and I totally fell apart, but rather than remorsing over these – like I’ve been seeming to be doing, engulfing myself with depression, pity, all the hard-to-dodge, yet at the same time, easy to catch symptoms – I’ll use it to my advantage. Learn from mistakes, don’t punish yourself until after you repeat them.

God, I sound happy tonight. That’s a change. Haha. It’s good to be happy, but extremely hard to be during times also.

None the less. Today was good. Live in the moment, die in the future.

On a completely different note, that reminded me of something, something a little more grim… I’m commonly viewed as a cynical person, as my thoughts on life and society and such are so controversial. And, I am rather bored right now, so why not post the run down, for myself, or for others, whichever, writing helps me sort out my thoughts none the less.

So, not to go in depth, but for the general gist of things… “the four basic principles of human nature“
We are born only to die, it is innevitable. – Doomed
However, it’s not as rudementary as that: we do have some objectives. – Reason
Ensure the survival of your species, and of yourself (not necessarily by mating, but protecting of that set). – Survive
Yourself primarily. – Greed

Now, over the last few thousand years that humans have been in existence, we’ve changed quite a bit. Let’s take a look at how so, starting from the beginning.

Humans come into existence, probably by a means of evolution… not from apes, because that has been proven false. From what then? I don’t know, a tree, a feather, an entity, either way, we were formed. – Formation

Next, as us being perhaps the most intelligent creatures on the Earth (depending on how you view intelligence, either as our build up of society, or by the means to survive in the natural habitat, whilst following the first 4 defined “rules”), eventually continued to evolve our thought process, and moved onto bigger things, like war. This has been one factor that humans never have changed, war, it is a constant plague surfacing on the planet. – Destruction

Well, during the few minutes we’re not at war or creating some form of violence, for petty reasons other than the first four ideas, people were creating governments, a corrupt method used for one person to exploit others, atleast, that’s how it was started out. – Corruption

So we have governments, corrupting people, and war killing them off, not because of human nature to do so, but because our “intelligence” leads us from the natural principles, to formulate new ideas of how to succeed in these. Over the thousands of years, not much has changed since then, we’re still stricken with Destruction and Corruption, and perhaps many new problems as well now also. As in order to distract from these, and as evolution proceeds, there is a major factor being played. This is the factor that decides what is right from wrong, depending not upon the natural behaviours of man, but from what benefits the enforcers of this belief. Enthusing the power of greed, and making great examples of it. – Society

Finally, to mix them all together, you have society hiding corruption causing desctruction. Or destruction causing corruption leading to society. Any way in which you mix them the end result will be the same. It’s all math, 1 * 1 * 1= 1 * 1 * 1. This “tri-product” results in a new, evolved form of the 4 basic principles. Not is it anymore Doomed, Reason, Survive, and Greed, but it’s Doomed, Reason, Survive, Greed, and Evolve. In order to understand why people get upset over one death, moreso than millions, or are hindered by mere words, or basic actions such as sex or death, is to be able to comprehend the question, why? If you can ever formulate an answer for that, let me know.

Now, like I said, it was going to get nasty. I don’t know if this is truly what I believe, or just a base for a platform that I can further think upon it with.
