Today I gave a presentation with 3 others at the North Technical College to a sociology class. The others were the advisor of the GSA, Sarah, and Robby. We went to the class simply to openly answer questions the class had on anything gay related.

The questions were mostly pretty simple. In fact, there wasn’t really any challenging questions poised to us at all, which is unfortunate. I was really hoping to hear from “the opposition,” but to no avail. Although I feel that we did some educating, I really wish that we could have been posed a question that really made us think before answering. I want to get just as much out of these as the people asking the questions do.

I’d also like to get the GSA involved more with the community when I can start attending.

I don’t know. My thoughts are scattered and I feel as though I really don’t have anything relevant to post right now..so good night!
